Students begin with basic shapes such as circle, square, rectangle and progress to learning the difference between 2-d and 3-d shapes such as circle and sphere. The VPK program reviews the basics and teaches extended geometric shapes that are expected for kindergarten such as cylinders, cones, spheres and cubes. We use a variety of fun songs, stories, art and planned activities to learn these shapes.
